ABOUT DISPATCHES

DISPATCHES is a Center for International Theatre Development (CITD) initiative that is focused on illuminating and strengthening the international theatre conversation between US professionals and young, emerging artists and companies in Russia, Eastern, and Central Europe. 

 

These have been very difficult times in the region for established, high-profile artists. We read about funding cuts, spaces and jobs lost, and new levels of censorship.
